Kasane

Arrive at Kasane International Airport. You will be met at the Airport by a Marvelous Mobile Safari guide who will take you to your hotel. Look out for a sign board that reads “MARVELOUS MOBILE SAFARI”..You will be transferred from Kasane to Victoria Falls for your activities at the Falls.You will stay for a night at your own preferred hotel/lodge on bed and breakfast basis at your own expense. Lunch and dinner will be served also at your own expense.

Chobe National Park

Kasane Wake up early to take a beautiful trip to the famous Chobe National Park.. After a siesta you will go for an afternoon game drive along the Chobe River where we will see big herds of buffalo, elephant, pods of hippos, and prides of lions. Chobe is a unique park because during dry season big herds of animals congregate along the river. You will see elephants swimming from one bank to the other, buffalos crossing to Sedudu Island. Get back from a beautiful game drive, freshen up and have dinner. Bedtime is determined by the last guest.

Arrive at Elephant Sand. You will camp here for one night. You will be using permanent ablutions here. You will later go for your night drive with a professional guide. You will get to see animals in their natural habitats.

Nata Bird Sanctuary

Nata Bird Sanctuary After breakfast we depart from Chobe National Park to Nata bird sanctuary. The Nata Bird Sanctuary is a community managed reserve on the Sowa pan where bird life and wildlife is protected. You will experience the magnificent vast open space of the salt pans driving towards the lookout point and with luck you will find the flamingos who come to breed in the winter. There are more than 150 other bird species to be found such as pelicans, stilts, korhaans, bustards and spoonbills. Arrive at Nata Bird Sanctuary in the afternoon and have lunch. After lunch we go for bird watching and photographing. Come back in the evening and have dinner.

Nata Bird Sanctuary Wake up in the morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast. We will go for a morning drive for wildlife viewing and photographing. Come back in the afternoon to have lunch. After lunch we will go for bird watching and photographing. Come back to the camp and dinner will be offered. Coming to the Nata Bird Sanctuary on Botswana Safari will bring you to the homing grounds for so many birds, including Flamingos, Pelicans, Ducks, Geese, Ostriches, Kingfisher Eagles, Spoon Bills and more. Animal admirers and lovers got a chance to explore the sanctuary and view all the animals housed there through a game drive.

Makgadikgadi (Gweta)

Makgadikgadi Salt Pan After breakfast we will depart from Nata Bird Sanctuary to Makgadikgadi. The Makgadikgadi forms part of the Kalahari Basin, located in the central region of Botswana and consists of a number of pans. It was an enormous lake in the ancient past but when that dried up these dazzling white pans were all that remained. Arrive at the camp and go for quad biking and come back in the afternoon to have lunch. We will then go for a village tour walk. Come back to the camp and have dinner.

Lekhubu Island

Wake up early and head for Lekhubu Island immediately after breakfast. Packed lunch will be served along the way. Upon arrival, clients will be taken for a game drive and later return to camp for a shower and dinner before heading to bed.

After breakfast, and then you will explore Lekhubu Island in the vast salt pan. You will return to camp for lunch and a siesta before heading out in the afternoon to witness yet again the landscape and wildlife of Lekhubu Island. Rakops Village

Rakops Wake up in the morning and depart from Lekhubu Island to Rakops Village. Arrive at the village and have a village tour where you will learn about the history of the village. You will have an opportunity to see the villagers performing traditional dance and songs. After that we will go around the village to see meerkat which inhabit the area of Rakops. Come back to Rakops camp site for dinner. Bedtime will be determined by the last guest.

Central Kalahari Game Reserve We depart to CKGR from Rakops Village, lunch will be offered on the way. Arrival at CKGR in the evening and there will be a dinner and shower before heading to bed. We will camp here for two nights.

Central Kalahari Game Reserve First in the morning we will have a quick shower and have a breakfast during our stay here we will track the black manned lion of the Kalahari. African wild dogs, cheetahs, brown hyenas can also be found following their prey in this unmated wilderness. The black manned lion of the Kalahari has a dominant colour, its adaptation is very high and therefore it can survive in harsh conditions. Time will be taken for exploring and photo shooting. Come back to the camp and have dinner.

Makgadikgadi Salt Pan Depart for Makgadikgadi National park. You will drive along the A3 road which interconnects Maun and Nata. Upon arrival at the entrance gate, clients will have a chance to do a game drive before they get to their full set campsite. Arrive at the camp site, freshen up and then lunch follows. After lunch you will go for a siesta. After siesta have high tea and then resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Come back before sunset, have a shower and then dinner will be served. Time for bed will be determined by the clients

Nxai Salt Pan

Makgadikgadi Salt Pan We will then depart from Makgadikgadi National Park to Nxai Pan National Park. It takes about 4 hours to reach the salt pans. We will bring packed lunches and snacks with us. Upon arrival, we will set up camp, and there will be time for you to relax and refresh yourself after the trip. After the siesta, you will join your Professional Guide for a short game drive around the pan until sunset, coming back to camp in time for a shower before dinner under the African sky.

Nxai Salt Pan

Makgadikgadi Salt Pan Wake up in the morning and have a light breakfast before your day trip - a game drive to explore Nxai Pan. We’ll expect to see elephants, giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, zebras, and some of the big predators. We’ll bring along packed lunches and snacks as we’ll be spending the whole day in the bush. The game drive will include a trip to Baines Baobabs. Baines Baobabs were named after the famous 20th century painter and explorer who painted this unusual group of baobabs during his journey through southern Africa in 1862. The baobabs stand on the edge of a large salt pan that, although dry for most of the year, transforms into a massive sheet of water dotted with water lilies during the rainy season from December to March. During those wet months, water birds abound at the lagoon and create a spectacle of great beauty. We will drive back to camp in the evening, just in time to relax and take a shower before a superb dinner cooked over an open fire.

Maun, Botswana

Okavango Delta Arrive in Maun, Botswana’s tourism hub. Maun is Botswana’s tourism capital and lies on the southern fringes of the Okavango Delta. You will sleep here for one night and stock for your essentials before proceeding to the next destination.

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta Have a quick shower in the morning and have breakfast before departing to the Mighty Okavango Delta. Upon arrival at the delta, we will transfer you to the mokoro station by 4WD open sided safari vehicle (about an hour) where you will meet your guide and Poler. You will glide along myriad water channels, in a mokoro (dugout canoe) looking for wildlife and bird species which inhabit the Delta. There are no facilities out there as you camp on an island chosen by your guide. On arrival your guide will take you for a game walk where you can enjoy awesome sightings and the sound of birdsong; followed by lunch. After lunch you may enjoy a siesta moment in camp to avoid the mid-day heat. Your accommodation will be a 2.4m x 2.4m dome tent with a comfortable bedroll with linen. Wait for the sunset for the amazing changes in hue that give visitors so much pleasure. At dusk your guide will light you a fire where all your meals will be prepared by a chef. Please bring a hat and sunscreen as there is no shade. Bedtime is determined by last guest

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta For interested persons, an early morning game walk will be available, returning to the camp when ready to enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, the mekoros can be taken again to enjoy the channels, the intricate veins of waterways which interconnect the lagoons, or take a guided bush walk before having lunch or snacks. In the afternoon, the guides will take you in the mekoros to a safe location where swimming is possible in the waters of the Okavango Delta, followed by a chance to learn how to pole a mokoro using the gnashi. Time can be taken to relax and have a drink. After the bush walk, you can relax and unwind in the camp, refresh and take dinner under the Milky Way starlit skies after which the guides and polers will narrate cultural stories and entertain with you traditional dances which display animal tracking techniques and gathering methods for traditional medicinal purposes. Guests interested in astronomy will be treated to one of the most expansive displays of stars on earth, before retiring in cozy tents for the night and drifting off to the sounds of the wild. Bedtime is determined by last guest.

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve Have breakfast and depart to Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi game reserve is widely considered as one of the finest wildlife reserves in Africa. It has a diversity of habitats combining acacia forests and mophane woodlands with floodplains and lagoons. Here we will be camping at an exclusive campsite. Our drives will take us to the park’s most beautiful areas such as Third Bridge, Bodumatau and Dead Tree Island. Game is plentiful in these areas. Sightings include elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, hyena, jackal and many different antelopes including red lechwe and the shy sitatunga, a web-footed antelope perfectly adapted to life in the swamps. Wild dog, whose numbers are so rapidly dwindling elsewhere, are regularly sighted in the Moremi Game Reserve. We will camp for two nights.

Moremi Game Reserve Wake up in the morning and have a light breakfast, then go for a morning game drive. After lunch, we will go for an afternoon game viewing and come back to the camp site before sunset. Guests will have time to refresh, have dinner and spend a night under 2.4m x 2.4m dome tents.

Moremi khwai

Khwai Concession After a warm shower, have breakfast, then you will do a short game drive for about +3 hours, then come back to the camp and then depart to Khwai at North gate. You will witness amazing wildlife as you drive to Khwai. Arrive at Khwai campsite, have lunch, followed by a siesta. After siesta enjoy high tea and then resume your afternoon game drive. Come back from your afternoon activity, have a shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest. Khwai is situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Chobe National Park on the southwestern part of the park. Khwai has a huge population of impala and tshesebe are found in the area, while in the dry season large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephant, and zebra flock into the reserve from Kalahari in search of food and water. Birds which are found in the reserve include Sacred Ibis and Crested Crane.

Mababe Concession

Khwai Concession Wake up in the morning, take a quick shower, and have a breakfast. We will then depart from Khwai heading to Mababe. The Mababe village is situated on the banks of Khwai River, approximately 125km north East of Maun the Safari Capital. The village is 50 kilometers from Moremi/ Khwai village, 10 kilometers to Mababe Gate and 60 kilometers from Savute in the Chobe National Park. On arrival to Mababe, we will go for an early game viewing drive. We will go back to the camp in the afternoon to have lunch. After lunch we will go for a guided bush walk and after that we will take an evening game viewing drive. Come back to the camp in the evening and dinner will be offered. Bedtime will be determined by the last guest.

Khwai Concession Have a quick shower in the morning and have breakfast. We will go for a morning game viewing drive and photo shooting. Come back to the camp site for lunch and a siesta. You will have a few hours rest. You can head to the village to explore cultural activities which include traditional dance and songs at an extra cost. We will go back to the camp after sunset and dinner will be served around the fire.

Savuti

Have breakfast and depart to Savuti which is part of Chobe National Park. It is called Savuti because a certain chief called Sauté used to live there with his tribe. Tawny eagles can be seen soaring in the sky as we go. The drive is a bit longer from Moremi to Savuti, however, the drive is much enjoyable as you will see lots of birds and animals on the way. The scenery is amazing and very African looking, with lots of umbrella thorn, acacia tortilis with giraffe feeding and many more including the most photographed bird, lilac breasted roller, a national bird of Botswana. You will not resist from taking a picture of it, it’s the most beautiful bird in Africa. We arrive in time for lunch; our exclusive camp will be set up and we will camp for 2 nights. Depart for a game drive at 3:30pm to the beautiful Savuti marsh where we will see vast herds of zebras and wildebeest and also have an opportunity to see pairs of kori bastards which are the heaviest flying birds. We get back to camp after sunset for a lovely dinner around the camp fire. Again the last guest determines bedtime.

Savuti

We will have early morning tea, coffee and rusks then depart for a game drive along the Savuti channel. The area looks very unique as there are lots of tall trees along the river where animals like to hang around in the shade. We will also drive to the Savuti marsh where we may have an opportunity to track the cheetah because of the vast open grassland, their mostly preferred habitat. Get back for brunch after a long drive, have a shower, launder your clothes and have a siesta. Depending on individuals, sometimes some people update their diaries. At 3:30pm you will have tea and coffee then depart for a game drive, which will be our last game drive in Savuti. We will be back from the game drive after sunset which will have been enjoyed under the baobab tree (adonsonia digitata), an indigenous tree found in Africa. It is nicknamed the upside down tree because the branches look like roots when it is dry or doesn’t have leaves. Get back to the camp after a lovely game drive in time for dinner.

Kasane, Botswana

Chobe National Park Wake up in the morning and have a quick shower, then have breakfast. After breakfast you will depart to Kasane. On your way to Kasane, you will be able to view more wildlife for about 4 hours’ drive. You will catch your flight at Kasane International Airport. TRIP ENDS!
